Tulina Health provides specialist education, training and resources focused on women's neurodevelopmental health, including ADHD, autism, hormones, menopause, masking, burnout, emotional regulation and complex mental health presentations.
This page is designed for individuals, professionals and organisations who want to understand how neurodevelopmental differences can present across the female lifespan, and how better awareness, assessment, support and workplace practice can improve outcomes.
Women and girls can experience ADHD, autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in ways that are often missed, misunderstood or recognised late. Many learn to mask their difficulties, manage high internal pressure, or present with anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, burnout or complex mental health needs before their underlying neurodevelopmental profile is fully understood.
Tulina Health is developing a dedicated education and training hub to improve understanding of these experiences across healthcare, social care, education, employment and community settings.
Our work combines neurodevelopmental knowledge, mental health expertise, safeguarding awareness and real clinical experience to help individuals and professionals recognise needs earlier, respond more confidently and create better support systems.
The Women's Neurodevelopmental Health hub brings together education and professional learning across the following specialist areas.
Understanding how ADHD may present in women and girls, including inattentiveness, emotional dysregulation, overwhelm, executive functioning difficulties, internalised distress, late diagnosis and masking.
Exploring autistic presentation in women and girls, including masking, social exhaustion, sensory needs, burnout, communication differences, identity, relationships and late recognition.
Education on how hormonal changes may interact with ADHD traits across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause, and why this matters for support planning.
Understanding the impact of long-term masking, social camouflaging, overcompensation, professional pressure and chronic exhaustion in neurodivergent women.
Exploring the relationship between neurodevelopmental differences, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional distress, personality disorder diagnosis, risk and complex presentations.
Practical education around emotional intensity, rejection sensitivity, sensory overload, shutdown, overwhelm and strategies for support across personal and professional settings.
Helping employers, universities, schools and professional teams understand reasonable adjustments, inclusive practice, communication needs and sustainable support.
Understanding how neurodevelopmental needs, mental health, exploitation, self-neglect, domestic abuse, coercion, care needs and risk may intersect for women and girls.
