Understanding Autism

Moving Beyond Awareness to Better Practice

Autism is often misunderstood, oversimplified or viewed only through a deficit-based lens. Many autistic people experience differences in communication, social interaction, sensory processing, executive functioning, emotional regulation and daily life demands. These differences can be shaped by environment, expectations, masking, trauma, anxiety, burnout and the level of support available.

Tulina Health's autism training helps learners move beyond basic awareness and develop practical, neuroaffirming understanding. Our courses support professionals and organisations to recognise autistic needs, reduce stigma, make reasonable adjustments, respond to distress safely and create environments where autistic people are understood and supported.

Tulina Health's autism training does not replace clinical assessment, diagnosis, individual treatment planning or medical advice. It is designed to improve knowledge, confidence and practice.
